CellForCash.com Calls On Cell Phone Users Everywhere to Recycle Their Retired Cell Phones During December - Traditionally Most Active Month for New Ce
According to a recent report from M:Metrics, 12 percent of U.S. mobile users who bought a new phone last year did so in December, which marks a 40 percent increase in device sales during that month. "December is consistently the highest-performing month for new device purchases, and the operators have responded by embellishing their handset portfolios in time for the holidays," Paul Goode, senior analyst, M:Metrics said in a statement.
Surveys suggest that less than 10% of U.S. consumers dispose of their old cell phones either by selling them or through other recycling methods. This leaves more than 11 million cell phones to pile up every month in the homes of America.
James Mosieur, CEO of RMS, says the stockpile of cell phones continues to rise regardless of recycling alternatives. "Most people don't realize their old cell phone may be worth something. Of those who do, the vast majority have no clue how much it's worth let alone how to sell it."
This is where CellForCash.com comes in. The website lists the value of over 600 different models of cell phones. Prices range from $5 to well over $200.00. If your cell phone does not qualify for payment the company will recycle it for free. Users simply find their cell phone, submit their information and CellForCash.com will send a return box with a pre-paid label affixed. Payment will be sent 30 days after receiving your cell phone.
"For almost every new cell phone purchased, one is retired" said Mosieur. "We estimate that nearly $500 million worth of cell phones are collecting dust when they should be collecting interest."
Getting cash back isn't the only pay off, there an environmental benefit as well. In the last 12 months the CellForCash.com website has helped RMS divert almost 200 tons of electronic material from the waste stream.

New Industry Publications from Bean Media Draw Praise From Experts
The company is about to release the flagship magazine 'Australia's Best Food & Drink', and already has significant contributions from major players in the industry such as SPC Ardmona, Starbucks, Bidvest, Australian Fast Foods (Red Rooster), Drakes, Bartter Enterprises, Dominos Pizza and Hardy's WIne.
Bean Media will be enthralled at the level of success for the first instalment of the new series and copies will be sent to the leading players within the food and beverage industry.
A spokesperson at Bean Media Group gave the following statement: "We are delighted at the response to our flagship issue of 'Australia's Best' and it's fantastic to have so many well respected companies in the industry offering their support and backing this new range of publications. We have every confidence of growing the brand and demand for our second installment is already growing. Which companies we select for inclusion will obviously be down to us, but everything is headed in the right direction and we are extremely optimistic about the future."
The editorials on companies chosen to be featured are free of charge and are all replicated on Google and Yahoo news providing a powerful audience of some 40-plus million people a month. In addition to this, the print run expected for the first issue is expected to be over 55,000, which is again substantial and should prove to be a solid platform for a successful series of publications.
Bean Media Group have yet to decide on the industry for the second instalment, but draft copies of Australia's Best Food & Drink all point to a high-quality, glossy, full colour magazine. There is the usual news section featuring companies within the industry and the editorial on the companies selected to participate seems good. The theme Bean Media Group are taking focuses on supply chain management and the importance of key suppliers.
There was no word from Bean Media on the exact nature of the second issue, however, it is widely-expected to be Australia's Best Manufacturing. If the quality of content, editorial and the magazine itself remains the same, the company should have an impressive array of publications to offer to industry.

RSD/CRPS is a chronic progressive neurological condition that affects nerves, skin, muscles, joints, and bones. The syndrome usually develops as a result of trauma to a limb, and some cases result from minor, seemingly inconsequential injury, such as a sprain. Pain may begin in one area or limb and then spread to other limbs. The condition is characterized by various degrees of burning pain, excessive sweating, swelling, and sensitivity to touch. Symptoms may become dormant and reappear again with the passage of time. The medical literature recognizes that it is crucial for a person suffering from this condition to obtain prompt, aggressive treatment from a physician who is knowledgeable about the condition.
The $14.7 settlement is yet another substantial recovery by Mazie Slater Katz & Freeman, LLC, an Essex County New Jersey law firm specializing in personal injury, professional and medical malpractice, product liability, and class actions.

Real Help for Those Facing Foreclosure
Orlando, FL (PRWEB) December 18, 2007 -- Avested LLC launches the first ever online home auction site for the growing number of homeowners in the USA who face the misery of foreclosure. The company has launched its online auction site, www.avested.com, for the exclusive listing of homes in foreclosure, pre-foreclosure and those that are already bank owned. Using a similar sales format as eBay, Avested.com enables home owners to list their property for sale for as little as $199 with a number of options such as setting a reserve price, an immediate sales price, a fixed price or an auction date which is set to end prior to the homeowner's foreclosure deadline. Not only can the homeowner list their property for just $199 but on the successful sale they pay only a 0.5 percent sales fee compared to the national average of 6 percent charged by Realtors. To coincide with their launch the company is offering sellers a special listing promotion during the month of December whereby they can list their property for sale for just $99.
The founders of Avested LLC dreamed up the concept after they had been bombarded by media articles about the escalating foreclosure problem and the hundreds of websites, advertisements and informercials that offer to show you how to take advantage of the foreclosure market and become rich. A spokesman for Avested said; "Every day you see something that offers to show you how to make money from foreclosures and bank owned properties. You read about the rising foreclosure numbers in the US and the forecasts that show it is only going to get worse but you seldom read about help for those facing the misery of foreclosure and perhaps even pending bankruptcy. We decided to develop a program to help the people who need it the most and to give them at least a fighting chance. Unlike other companies out there, our aim is to help those in payment difficulty at the lowest possible cost to sell their home prior to losing it by generating real buyers through the power of the internet and other advertising media. We are not looking to take advantage of those in financial difficulty, instead we wish to offer them another option."
House Foreclosures in the US and Europe are at an all time high, so homeowners facing the same fate are certainly not alone. Foreclosure is a stressful and traumatic event in people's life and their minds will often be filled with all kinds of thoughts and emotions and, unfortunately most of them negative. For many, the instinct is to do nothing until it is almost too late and then to think that it is too late to do anything to save their home or any equity they may have in it.
Compounding the mounting problem of mortgage default and eventual foreclosure is the severely depressed real estate market with homes taking longer than ever to sell in an already flooded market of almost 4 million existing homes for sale nationwide. This means that for many, even those with a good amount of equity, selling their home in time to head off foreclosure proceedings can be almost impossible leaving homeowners with few options. Many homeowners going into foreclosure with equity in their property will never see a dime after the property has been sold by the mortgage lender and may find they still owe money. The lender is only concerned with recovering what is owed to them and their costs regardless of the equity the homeowner may have in the home which is their money
Avested LLC has recognized the plight of the homeowners in financial difficulty and has launched the world's first online real estate auction website listing for sale only properties in foreclosure, pre-foreclosure and those already bank owned. Avested offers a genuine lifeline to homeowners by providing a facility for them to sell their home prior to losing it through the foreclosure process and at a fraction of the cost that is generally charged by real estate agents. This provides the homeowner with a better chance of selling their home and retaining some equity or at least selling their home in time to head off foreclosure.
The website provides potential buyers with access to properties for sale anywhere in the US all of which are either in foreclosure, pre-foreclosure or already bank owned. This means that anyone serious about buying a property can do so at a bargain price and know that they have helped a homeowner in need. Avested.com also offers potential buyers with links to lenders who will pre-qualify them quickly for a loan to enable them to bid with confidence on a property. The power of the internet means that buyers from anywhere in the world who are looking for property have access to the listings and this makes the seller's listing available to worldwide buyers, especially the growing number of Europeans, who wish to purchase property in the US.
